Frequently Asked Questions
We would start with a free 15-30 minute consultation to discuss your therapeutic goals and what you are looking for in a therapist. I want to ensure that I'm able to provide the support you need and that you feel comfortable with me, the consultation goes both ways! The first session would be a 45 minute Intake covering your background and history. All sessions are conducted via Zoom.
To avoid any charges, all cancellations or requests to reschedule must be made no later than 24 hours before your confirmed appointment time. If we are able to find a new time to reschedule within the same calendar week, you will not be charged the late fee. If this becomes a pattern, we will discuss a new appointment time overall that works better for your schedule.
I do not take insurance and am an out-of-network provider.
Some insurance plans cover out-of-network benefits and you can receive substantial reimbursement for treatment once you reach your deductible.
You should contact your insurance provider to see what your out-of-network coverage for mental health services is (they will ask for a billing/CPT code which is 90834), how much of your deductible you have remaining, and the amount that they will reimburse for sessions.
If you choose to use out-of-network benefits, I will send you a signed invoice for our sessions (referred to as a "superbill") to submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement. My rate for out-of-network sessions range from $175 - $250.
